Scottish Highland Gathering and Games features Archery, British Cars, Birds of Prey, Celtic Heritage, Children Glen, Coos & Clydesdale, Friday Night Concert, Grandstand Show, Heavy Athletic Events, Highland Dancing, Irish Dancing, Kilted Mile Race, Living History, Piping and Drumming, Rugby and Shinty, Sheep Dog Trials, Soccer, Whisky Tasting and etc.

Join our Volunteers and help stuff Backpacks with the essentials donated by our Community and needed by our Homeless Veterans through the coming winter.

Donations of the Essentials may be made at the Drop Box in the lobby of the Veterans Center, 3500 Coffee Rd., Suite #15, Modesto CA.
The items in RED are high priority and would be greatly appreciated.
These Backpacks will be distributed at the 4th Annual Veterans Stand Down on Oct. 31, 2019.

Delta Center for the Arts presents the Marine Band's 2019 concert tour at:

The Marine Band tour tradition began in 1891 under Director John Philip Sousa. This performance is by the same musicians who perform at the White House.
Tickets are free and required to ensure a seat. Tickets expire 15 minutes before the concert. Seating is opened to the standby line thereafter.

The 4th Annual Veterans Stand Down is being held at Graceada Park, Modesto CA.
The Stand Down for homeless veterans is modeled after the Stand Down concept used during the Vietnam War providing a safe retreat for units returning from combat operations.
An array of Services and Support will be provided to all Homeless and Low Income Veterans including Food, Clothing, Employment Services, VA Healthcare, VA Claim Services, Veteran Service Officer assistance, Pet Care, Dental Care, Showers, and many others.
The Marine Corps League, Det 019 will be distributing Backpacks for Life filled with essentials to help our Veterans through the coming winter months.

The official Marine Corps Birthday is November 10, 1775 — that’s the date on which a Continental Congress resolution directed that two
battalions of Marines be raised.
The first recruiting office opened up in Tun Tavern, Philadelphia.
